What actually makes you laugh on the telly?

Other than that, I can't think of a funny series...

Older programmes, and that's a bit strange as i always expected comedy to keep pushing boundries forward, it hasn't for quite a while now.

Anything featuring Conservatives or Middle-Class people.

Bolton 5 Newcastle 1, Blackadder, Peepshow, Only Fools, Fawlty Towers, Lead Balloon, Extras, The Office, Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, Buzzcocks, Alan Pardew as the New Messiah.

Pushing boundaries means doing things that some people won't find funny.

Why?Morecombe and Wise pushed the boundries, the Two Ronnies pushed boundries,Only Fools and Horses pushed boundries.
They used spin on words, ordinary situations and pushed them to the boundries, focal points etc,played on stereotypes. ie total comedy.
They didn't put themselves down one road.
