What actually makes you laugh on the telly?
Just wondering, with Benidorm and the like not going down very well!

Peep Show is all right, but wearing a bit thin.

Older programmes, and that's a bit strange as i always expected comedy to keep pushing boundries forward, it hasn't for quite a while now.

Pushing boundaries means doing things that some people won't find funny.
So channels think.. "fuck that hard, just put Michael Macintyre on again".

Why?Morecombe and Wise pushed the boundries, the Two Ronnies pushed boundries,Only Fools and Horses pushed boundries.
They used spin on words, ordinary situations and pushed them to the boundries, focal points etc,played on stereotypes. ie total comedy.
They didn't put themselves down one road.
