A19 doesn't sound good, judging by the other thread...any one been on the A690 this evening (Sunderland - Durham), and is it as bad?

Came home on the A19 12.00 time,southbound there was a gritter in a ditch,a fkn gritter,and northbound a blue megane on it's roof,the speed some knobheads pass you is unbelievable,it's obvious the state of the roads.
