It's been said on this board that Campbell is better than Welbeck, this is clearly ridiculous. If I was Steve Bruce getting Welbeck would be my number one priority given his performances and the fact that he had bonded so well with the team.

If I was Steve Bruce I would sell Richardson (5M), Riveros (3M), Kilgallon (1M), Healy (1M). I would take that money and then offer Man. Utd. 12M.

Why?

Because he chases down every ball, has great skill, stamina and works well with the team. He scores goals and will be a star in the future. I don't think Fergie will keep him as he has Berba, Rooney, Macheda and Hernandez plus whichever star they buy next.

He will probably actually come given the love from the supporters, all his team mates are all English (the young uns) and the club is pushing for a Euro spot.

He'd be silly not to come.

As if he is going to be on the right side of a 3-0 score line against Chelsea with anyone other than the lads.

Plus he has a sweet haircut.

You do realise Campbell has all those traits aswell don't you?

Personally I like both players but Campbell just trumps it for me, he is better for setting up people in better positions than himself - which Welbeck tends to fuck up quite often with.

Campbell's run alongside Bent and on the right of midfield the last half of last season was superb and he was a big reason why Bent managed to get so many goals.

Both would have roles to play for us. Welbeck would be a killer player to have coming off the bench to make an impact & Campbell would be great second choice on right mid (Hendo 1st choice) or just behind the strikers.

He may well have, but I don't think he is as good as Wellbeck. And his haircut lets him down, tbh.

Not commenting on the main point of your article, agree with some and not with other bits. My gripe is with those words, this is clearly ridiculous, put IMO or the like and its fine but when you state its ridiculous it says, if you dont agree with me you are a fool, IMO
