To me it just shows the trust Ellis Short has in Quinn. He allows him to make the footballing decisions and is willing to stay in the background (except when he confronted Keane when he saw how he was behaving, thank goodness).

Well if you're going to be so specific to say we've got the only ex-player chairman who is not the owner. Why dont we say we're the only Premier League club with a chairman called Niall Quinn?
