Default Remember Ashley during the 5 - 1 defeat?

I was watching the defeat at the mags in a pub in Leeds. The camera cut to Ashley at (iirc) 4-0. You might have thought he would be loving a win like that against the local rivals. I know Quinn would be struggling not to react if the boot was on the other foot. But Ashley looked gutted! And it wasn't just me that thought it there were a number of my Leeds mates that thought so too. I believe hughton had been lined up to go then and Ashley couldn't do it and has had to wait until they've had a couple of bad results. As a sundeand fan I think them dragging their name through the mud AGAIN is hilarious but I have to confess to some sympahy for hughton. What more could he have done Nd he must have known it was coming for weeks!

He was angry at Hughton supposedly milking it:

Some astonishing stuff in that article. Or maybe not considering its Ashley. Eg:

•Hughton was required to submit a list of predictions for future games and discuss them with the United chiefs... whose own fantasy football guesswork has forecast that the Geordies will finish in 11th place this season.

While I hate the thought that it was at our expense you can't blame a manager who has a good relationship with his clubs fans from enjoying a win against their local rivals. Ashley really is pathetic.
