What I'd love to know is how the hell Cyprus is in there.

I bet quite a few avid football fans would struggle to name a cypriot footballer or football team, and it's not like that geographical area is under represented, because it is basically part of Turkey who are also (rightly) are in there.

Fair enough, they may not like each other much, but politics is no reason to exclude some much better footballing nations.
