Is going to be interesting an improving West Ham full of confidence versus a make shift back 4

Surely Bruce must realise that Cole will run Ferdinand ragged. Don't care who he plays at centre-back as long as it's not him.

He has the pick of Da-Silva, Onuoha and Ferdinand as centre backs and as he obviously does not rate Da-Silva it will be Onuoha and Ferdinand with Bardo switching to right back and Rico at left back.

Play Wellbeck, Bent and Gyan from the start and rip them a new one.

    4-0

If he doesn't rate Da Silva, why didn't he sell him when he got a 'big money' bid?

Only he knows but if he rated him one iota he would have come off the bench for Mensah last saturday.

Carlton cole has a good game against a second string united ( only one player, anderson, started against Blackburn ), and all of a sudden he's the new Drogba.
He's not a bad player, but he's done nowt for years in the proper league ( let's forget about tin pot kudos free cup competitions ).
AF knows all about CC's game and physically ( speed, height etc ) is more than a match for him. He's been out injured a long time and he's coming back to fitness, not to mention he's had 2 different partners in 2 games.
I'd be more worried if I was a WHU fan having to imagine Upson against any of Gyan, Bent and Welbeck.
It wont be an easy game, but you'd think we were about to play the english Barca the way some on this board bleating.

Won 0, drawn 3, lost 4 away from home.

Why would anyone think they will beat us? Surely the odds are in our favour, bearing in mind our home form is class?
