I think he was just suggesting you were a bit fickle, so it would be unwise to take you seriously.
He's right

Re: January will test Short, Quinn and Bruces' resolve
With Meyler resuming training and Campbell still to come back - that will be like two new signings! Goalkeepers we are now well covered, with players with defensive qualities and able to swap positions (Da Silva, Ferdinand, Bardsley, Nedum) think we are covered there, midfield, again abundence and up front (Would you Bent straight back in for Everton game?

Tim
I see good times ahead. This is still the transition year for SB and anything better than 9th or 10th would be a result.
But better is becoming a greater probability since 31/10.
Let's see how good we really are. Bring it on.

Oh, aye. I thought we all had to take each other seriously.

Therein lies the problem. Conforming with mediocrity. It's rife.... I tell ya.

Cant see the problem in selling Henderson for £20m and buying the two lads on loan plus N'Zogbia.
You wheel and deal to get to where you want to be and so far Bruce has done remarkably well on that score in such a short space of time.
Never look a gift horse in the mouth and £20m for a home grown player is a canny gift.

Without Nedum and Welbeck (for the last three games anyway) we wouldn't be where we are now, and I think Nedum in particular has been more of a reason for our success than Henderson so far this season, bar the odd dip he's been very impressive. We would struggle far more without Nedum than we would without Jordan. And without Jordan, we would have money to buy a good replacement.
Not an ideal scenario, but 20 million would be excellent for a player who, despite having potential, is as yet unproven to be worth anywhere near that.

Would allow us to play 4-4-2 away from home more and help in "scrappy" games with Meyler and Cattermole in the middle and Henderson on the right with Zenden/Malbranque on the left.
