haven't seen any threads about him but I thought he was magnificent today, he never wasted a ball and kept us ticking over in midfield. I think he will start for England after that performance but fear we will struggle to hold onto him.

He just keeps it simply, gets it and gives it but with vision. Fair play to Catts who earned the space for Hendo by working his arse off.

Brilliant performance and one of the best results in my lifetime

Done absolutely no harm to his reputation today, that's for sure. The few passes he misplaced, he ran his arse off to win it back. Very good run in the build-up to our 2nd goal too. Our two central midfielders outclassed Ramires, Mikel and Zhirkov IMO.

    Played class today like.

Quick one touch passing, shifting the ball out wide, pressing the Chelsea players back and got his tackles in. For Gyan's goal many would have had a shot in his position, but he had the vision to pick Gyan out for a one on one.

    Well played fella.

If Catts was a tw@t, he could have had Mikel sent off anytime he wanted in the second half. The guy was so wound up and frustrated, he was getting no control and looked right on the edge to me.

Why would he want to leave? We have just beaten Chelsea are joint 5th in the league and he has played a massive part in that. The futures bright the futures Sunderland. He is living out every Sunderland born, Sunderland fans dream by playing at the top level for Sunderland.

We don't need the money. He will only leave if he wants to leave and I don't think he will want to for a few seasons yet.
