It's an interesting one. How many will be on here wailing if he refuses to come off his line and we concede as a result?

For my money Gordon is the better keeper at the moment, but we've seemed to defend better with the Minger in there. Perhaps our defenders are more comfortable with knowing that their goalie's going to come for everything and miss every so often than rarely coming out. Not sure why like, it should be fairly straightforward to organise for either style.

For what it's worth we'll know better tonight after we've seen Gordon behind this defence for the first time.

Well, that's almost guaranteed if it happens isn't it? No win situation for Bruce.

If he wants to bring Gordon back, this is the best time, not after the mags or after these 2 games (presuming we get beat).

I wont criticise him for bringing him back even if he fecks up massively.

There was far too much flapping by Mignolet at the weekend. Once or twice is worrying but he did it countless times!! :S
Definitely time for big Craigy to step back in. Let's not forget how outstanding he was before his recent injury.

Not just at the weekend, the guy has been flapping for months. Don't get me wrong, he's been better than I ever expected and is an able deputy for Flash...but he's got out of jail a few times because we have a few big lads in the team who can clear a ball after he's gone walkabout.

On the back of a clean sheet I consider this a bad decision - Mig gets accused of "fllapping" around but he is a very positive keeper and I like the way he plays the game - he has far more credits than debits in my opinion. His save from Jones early on last weekend was crucial

Not knocking Gordon as he did play well towards the end of the season but if I were looking to change something I could think of several players Id replace before Mignolet

Mate, if he is going to be positive he needs to back it up. You might be able to forgive him if it's a one-off but he did it many times on Saturday - I bet his defenders weren't feeling so positive. We were very very lucky not to concede at least one because of it.
