Re: San Antonio Texas
Love it there especially at Christmas. The River Walk is like a modern mini Venice with shops, bars, restaurants and at Christmas the whole place is lit up with coloured lights an that. We go every year. The Alamo is across tue street from the Ricer Walk, not in the middle of a huge empty plain like in the fillums.
Nearby is Sea World, a zoo, a wild animal park where you can feed zebras and deer from your car, caves, an outlet mall, a water park, New Braunfels (nice college down where you can go tubing on the river) and Austin is only an hour away which is class anarl. Corpus Christi is a couple of hours the other way which has miles and miles of empty beaches.
