Default Some questions for the smb emigrators

I have been thinking for a long time now of packing up and emigrating...

The States seems an obvious choice for me, the Oz. For those who have emigrated, did you go to your country with a job? How did you source where to live, I would have thought if your works company sent you to work in this country then accomosation would have been found.

Has anyone who has emigrated started their own business, did you have capital or just turn up and start?

I feel that at my age, and the present rat race in the UK, a new start may well be needed, but where to start, I dont know?

    Cheers in advance my poppets...

    How old are you marra?

I think usually you need a job for visa reasons etc. Do you do a trade? What do you do? What business would you start?

Different for each country I would imagine

I personally wouldn't just up sticks and emigrate without having a job and a place to live already lined up. Might be different if I was single mind

Why do you want to emigrate? IME people who emigrate for negative reasons, ie they perceive the UK to be shiter than everywhere, struggle and go back home. When it's because they have a definite reason to be in a particular country then it works, usually.

I get the impression from your post it would be the first reason.
