Default Anyone seen footie in 3D??

Heard it's class and just heard about this deal over the weekend

Was looking at a new tv anyway and this might just tempt me.

Are you as well getting a 3D tele now, or waiting for newer versions to come out (i remember early HDTV's had a lot of issues), and also is it likely to be worth waiting for TV's that dont need glasses to watch the 3D content to be widely available and lower in price?

I've seen football in 3D and quite frankly I think it's overrated. Mind I did see a Danny Rose (I think it was him at least) spectacular for Tottenham.

That's what most people are waiting for. However the tech is pretty patchy at best at the minute, so when it does eventually hit it will still be expensive, even compared to normal 3DTVs.
