Is there a video of him 'rowing' his stretcher off the pitch kicking about anywhere online?

...one of my all-time abiding memories from supporting the lads. Pure class!

That and a reserve game against Blackburn at Roker when he threatened to kick some big defender into the Main Stand!!

I was trying to explain that to my son just yesterday, I was on about the really hard men of football. I'd love to see a video of it too.

...remember as a kid I used to always see him walking his dogs in Burnmoor & me not plucking up the courage to speak to him

I used to see him regularly, he's an outreach support worker for a company called stonham, I spent some time living in a hostel & he was in & out of there quite a bit, I didn't get much of a chance to speak to him myself, apart from 'alright' and stuff, but from what I heard off people who had regular contact with him he's sound as a pound & good at his job so... he looks in top form like.

    the canoe was class.
i remember in the play-off semi when he didn't half clatter little billy askew. iirc they were both from the same street, went to the same school etc.
wasn't he one of the ones dancing on a car roof at exeter as well?

I don't need a video. I was there. And it cost me my relationship.

I was in the Fulwell and couldn't believe what I was seeing. He was iirc on the left hand side near the CP by the Roker and after a few feet just sat up and started rowing. I can still picture it happening in my head
