    Default Leeds Branch??

I am returning to the UK shortly and will be renewing my season ticket. Was wondering if there are any coaches from the Leeds area travelling to the SOL. Ta in advance.

Its my understanding that there is no official Supporters branch in West Yorkshire, Something i find amazing. I have tried several times to drum up interest on PF and whilst initial interest seems good there does not seem the interest to take it further and form some sort of West Yorkshire branch. Even a branch that just arranges transport to the games would be a start. Driving up and down the A1 and A19 to attend the games its surprising how many Sunderland supporters you see many of them in there cars by themselves. I for one would have a more enjoyable match day knowing i could have a few beers on the way to the game and a few on the way home and not have to worry about the 100 mile journey home afterwards. Im sure a minibus or coach would cost no more than £15/20 a head that for me is cheaper already. So is anyone interested then.

Not sure if there is a Leeds coach, there was a south Yorkshire one a couple of years ago.Failing these our Manchester branch departs Thirsk after a beer break at 12.40 on normal matchdays, arriving at the SOL at about 13.50,in time for a beer or two.Check out the link on front page of message board.

As has been mentioned already there are buses that pick up. The Peterborough branch pick up at Donny and the North West branch have pick ups too. There did used to be a bus from Leeds which I think came about due to the amount of SAFC supporters at the Uni.

It is odd that there is no official Leeds/York Supporters Assoc. There are loads of supporters in the area, and I'd join up.

    It would depend on circumstances.

I'm in Selby and usually go with my lad who's 8 and at least one mate so we tend to go in the car. We won't be going as much this season due to saturday morning footy (my lad plays and I coach the side) cos its a pain in the arse getting up when we don't finish til 12.

If I was ever to go on my own it would defo be worth thinking about.

I was thinking about starting a wensleydale branch......around 7 coaches a season, but its getting people to go to more games, but i tend to fill my coaches with lithuanians, i think you need 50 to start a branch ....where we have something like 20.

There must be 50 on here from round Leeds/York. There are literally hundreds of SAFC supporters in the area.
