Default Mrs applied for a job...

...The wife applied for a job as a hairdressing lecturer at a college in the north-east. She got a letter back confirming they'd received her application, and if she hadn't heard anything within 25 days to assume she was unsuccessful.

Anyway, 25 days has gone, and the wife thought she would ask the college why she didn't get an interview incase there was something she could change for the future.

The response was...she didn't get the job, because she didn't turn up for the interview!!! WHAT FUCKING INTERVIEW???

Both myself and the wife are now pretty pissed off that she's potentially missed out on a job through no fault of her own.

The letter was probably stolen by one of those pesky postmen!

At least we know for the future to follow these things up sooner.

Well I'll be blown. Without a job, Mr and Mrs Littlened will be crimping and scraping for quite some time. Was the job Permanent? Were there any fringe benefits?

    We deserve to know.
