    I honestly disagree. I think he needs an extended run of games where he can show what a great defender he is. He's one of the best readers of the game I've ever seen in 30 odd years watching the Lads!

    he's a quality defender but the amount of space created between the two centre halves when he's playing is unacceptable, he's played quite a few games now and it's happened the majority of the time he's played. Serie A or La Liga would suit him.

    I understand what you're saying, I think he would be better suited playing as a defensive full back maybe! I don't think we should just chuck him on the scrap heap and let him go. I think he can be an integral part of the squad.
