It certainly looked like it to me. His reaction suggested as much. Shame for the lad, and now Quinn has to pull out all the stops to bring a striker in. I'd rather Bruce didn't broadcast it to the world as it weakens our position in any transfer bargaining.

It does, but we can add at least 1 million on to any deal we're expecting to make now that Bruce has told everyone.
