Now can you start to see that sometimes we need assurances before we can outlay, keep going like that fucker ^^^^ and we'd have been fucked.

thats a possibility...surely the club are not that daft...we'll sharp find out...
hopefully our new star striker is on his way...
if Jones was that disruptive as suggested then why didn't we make moves in June to replace him...at the moment its hard to understand...
Quinns two or three quailty signings...which the club made such a play about..never came off...and whos to say they knew that Cana and Jones wouldn't be around..
Its hard to grasp...doubt we'll get to know...already we've got this extreme comment today about bankrupting the club...thats embarrasing..

Always used to remember Gatesy moaning on The 3 Bellends how Leeds could spend big money and we did sweet FA.

Football needs a total reality check but that will not happen until someone big goes tits up.

If it was me I'd have sent him off on his holidays at the end of the season with something to think about, and the promise of a fresh start from all sides in July.
Clearly the same old problems have arisen and Bruce has had to make a choice. Time will tell if it's the right one.
For my money I'd rather have a player who's average to decent most of the time than unplayable once or twice and uninterested or unable to get into a game for the rest of the time.

Anyone else find it odd - or at least disappointing - that we have/had a lower turnover than Fulham and Portsmouth? That in spite of getting much bigger crowds, etc...

ages ago it was reported that a around 30,000 gate at West Ham brought in the same as a 38,000 - 42,000 gate at SOL. can't remember the exact figures but you get the idea.

just taking the crowds...and not the add ons...then say 40,000 at £400 per season is £16m...not a fantastic amount when the ground is nearly full..
this year Sky..??... pays £30m at the bottom...and £60m at the top...thats why they are trying to finish half way or more..£45-50m.
