    Sainsbury's will sell at 1.17, any better rates going?

    They're doing it for 1.18 at the moment, if you're ordering more than £500, they'll deliver it for free. They've got another option of a pre-paid mastercard so that you don't have to carry a wad of cash around with you, it gives you exactly the same rate as ordering cash.

    I used them when I went to Hungary the other week and they were spot on, best rate on offer.

    Best rates on net but most have a £300/500 min

    Best bet for small amounts is travelex, reserve on line and pick up at the airport on departure

    I was away 2 weeks ago and was getting 1.205 at the cashpoints - my advice is just get £200 max of euros then use the cashpoints there, ALWAYS get a better rate
