Blackpool in for a player who has been without a club for more than a year...
they're after Michael Ball....former Man City left back who has been out a club since he was released by City in JULY 2009!!!

Ok so they're not a rich club but surely there's some championship players on really low wages who'd jump at the chance of playing in the premiership.... What happens if Blackpool fail to name a 25 man squad on 1st September...?? |

Not a bad signing for them really. He looked fairly decent at City under Sven, certainly better than what Blackpool will already have.
I'm suprised he has been without a club for a year mind. |

from what I can gather they wont pay more than 10 grand a week, and there's plenty in the fizzy pop allready earning more than that.

Michael Ball and Marlon Harewood would be good signings for Blackpool, if only for their experience. Especially looking at their current squad.
Charlie Adam Louis Almond Alex Baptiste Billy Clarke Danny Coid Stephen Crainey Ishmel Demontagnac Neal Eardley Ashley Eastham Rob Edwards Jason Euell Ian Evatt Matthew Gilks Mark Halstead Stephen Husband Brett Ormerod Paul Rachubka Keith Southern Gary Taylor-Fletcher David Vaughan 20 players, including 3 goalkeepers and 4 under-21s. Their only strikers are Almond, Clarke and Ormerod. Southern, Clarke and Almond are injured. Leaving them with 17 players with 10 days to go and they need 18 for a full match day squad (first team plus subs), so as it stands they would be one man short on the bench, even though they'd be including two goalkeepers.
