    The Supporter's Association next to Roker Avenue sells them for about 3 quid a pop. I was after one for ages and just happened to pop in. They've got some cracking stuff in there.

    On the sunbject of matchday attire:

    My Oxblood steelie DMs.
    Ben Sherman Polo, Fred Perry Polo, Ben Sherman shirt.
    Cropped Wranglers.
    Levi Denim Jacket, Harrington Jacket or Crombie depending on the weather.
    A Sunderland scarf of some description.

    Try the Man United merchandisers - we first got them from there after the 1973 City cup-tie.

    Jester Hat, scalf, waist coat covered in badges, face paint, Liverpool limited edition cape, replica top with 'Stevie G 8' on the back, tracksuit bottoms and Liverpool trainers.

    Anyone remember a lad i think he was from sacriston who used to wear a denim jacket totally covered in sunderland badges he used to go every away game in the 70s ....if there was trouble he had to take it off and rol it up and carry it under his arm and try and blend in to escape....
