Default Viera not getting a ban.

The FA say it's because it was in a friendly. I may be wrong but didn't Chopra get sent off in a friendly and served a ban in the league.

All depends on the referees report I believe.

He did indeed. The referee reported it to the FA IIRC.

Rooney got sent off in a pre season game and missed premier league game(s).
As stated above,it depends whether the referee decides to pursue it.

Is correct, but isn't it galling that our pre season transgressions always get reported.

The rule should be changed then surely? It's a joke really.

'Man City' are now in the big for replacing the dippers, therefore the normal rules no longer apply to them.

FA came out yesterday and said the ban was at their discretion and that as it was a friendly they'd not carry it forward to a competitive game
