Slow Transfer time?

I was sort of thinking last night (a dangerous occupation for me) over a beer and I thought, hmm, 'seasons almost upon us we could do with a CM and LM, maybe a forward as well- Bruce needs to pull his finger out'

Which then led me to think that, really, it's been a pretty quiet period for transfers. I know it's a funny time post world cup, as a lot of deals etc get delayed, but am I right in thinking that we're not the only ones not doing a huge amount of deals and the market is quiet full stop??
