    Default Wine

Having a party at ours tonight, and, as I've been getting into wine a bit more recently (wouldn't touch the stuff before, but when you go to 6 weddings in 2 years you get plenty of it free and you get accustomed to the taste!) I'm drinking it tonight. I've bought 2 bottles, a Chilean sauv blanc and an Australian pinot grigio. Is that too much? Or not enough? I would otherwise have drunk about 8 cans of lager and finished with a couple of whiskeys, but don't know how my drinking capabilities will translate when it comes to wine!

If you're dinking it all to yourself, that should get you pretty plastered.

Sweet! If not, there's some whiskey and some punch, consisting of Lambrini, vodka and Orange juice

    That'll definitely do it.

    Dear me, yesterday.

2 bottles of wine and 2 glasses of punch is too much. But 2 pints of lager for lunch is a great hangover cure.

Canny sup that like, don't think I could have faced lager the day after though!

If I drink any more than 2 bottles of red I get the shakes the next day.
Not that I can normally walk to me rack to get another bottle btw

Never got into wine until I was in my 30s. The first night I tried a bottle for myself I didn't realise that you don't drink it as fast as beer. Mortal.
