We got 2 great young and hungry English prospects in Catts and Turner, a Champions League CM in Cana & a big name for us at the time in Bent.

I think people were hoping this year, with the ambition being to kick on, that the same types of quality names would be banded about, sadly they are all frees, loans, or 1/2 million quid bargain basement players
maybe bruce and co are thinking "we have spent a few quid, we were unlucky with injuries and this squad has had a year together and i think will improve as a result. i think il add one or two to add a bit more depth and see how we go. then we can have another look in january"

    just a thought......

So we hope for no injuries and a transfer Market window where hardly any transfers take place, actually did Bruce so this himself, was certainly spouted on here when nowt happened in January?

You've got to remember this squad you're talking about has now lost Hutton and Cana, along with Mensah. We had zero depth last year in the squad, take away 3 of our best players and you're not left with many options.

Cana was our captain last year and one of the first names on the team sheet up until the last few months. So aye, he was one of our best players.
