I think there's now a majority of supporters sick of the whole thing. It's only through force of habit they continue to follow clubs.

so true. it's been like this for years for me, can't stop going though.
as for the england footy team.....
i much prefer the rugby, at least if they get beat (which they normally do nowadays) you know they're busting a gut for the team.

I think thats a good point.

Most of the games you see in the PL are also shite. People will get sick of watching dross and paying £30 plus for the sake of it.

Aye..its got to said....he negotiates his contract also...but thats the way it is..
Years ago when we got promoted with Cowie in charge the price went up from £3 to £4 to get in the Fulwell and Roker...hell of a jump at the time...

I think it will get even worse aswell with lesser teams packing the midfield. I cant think what someone watching this hyped as fuck league would make of a tuesday night game between bolton and stoke.
