Default another bloody PC help thread

So ive just bought a new case, an NZXT Hades gaming case. Fuking about with cable management etc I go to turn it on and nothing, totally dead. The PSU light is on and also a green light on the MOBO so it is receiving power. At first I thought it might be the power button on the case, how else can I power up the PC without using the fucking power button onthe case?

Short the pins on the motherboard where the lead from the case button go. Use a small flat-head screwdriver. It helps if you have a steady hand

Something conductive, like metal. Perhaps a flat-head screwdriver would work...

By the way, are you sure you've wired up the leads from the case the right way? It's a pain in the arse, but I usually do them one by one, they never seem to go right when I plug them all in at once.

i've installed many systems so done "the usual" as you say, the case connectors PLED, HDled ar all correct, never had this issue before so..really annoying. (scratches head) ive had a look at the switch onthe case too, its clicking but i cant tell if its actually touching the sensor to turnon the board, brand new board this!! lol

have i killed the board? the light is on as normal, changed no hardware just the case...i have a spare so im gonna have to go through all that shit now grrrrrrr

    EDIT!!!!

    You were right my love!!!

touched it with a screwdriver, shit myself when the fans came on lol so this is a case of send the case back isn't it sob sob

    And thanks again xxxx
