Just got back from watchig the game from the Club. Everyone there was of the opinion that Holland were the better side but overall Spain deserved to win as they are the best side in the tournament. No one mentioned Webb other than Deyoung was lucky to stay on.
I get on PF and Holland are dirty bastards and Webbs had a stinker! Im wondering, in the club we couldnt hear the commentry. Those who are of this opinion are you being influenced by the comentators? Were they saying the things like that? Very puzzling otherwise?

Holland were not the better side. Spain played the better football and were the team who were trying to win

Netherlands should have had a couple of reds, Spain should have had one. Netherlands should have had a corner and Iniesta is a diving twat.

Some people on here are practically quoting the likes of Hanson et al.

Webb had a mediocre game, and good on him for trying to keep 22 players on the pitch.

Spain were fucking shite against Switzerland, poor against Paraguay and were allowed too much space against Germany. Not one team have demonstrated a right to win the cup. However Spain did try to play a positive game throughout.

I thought tonight that they edged the game overall, althought Robben couldve knicked it for Holland. Ended up with the right result. As finals go, was interesting throughout, and not short of incident.

I have watched the whole World Cup with Spanish friends and they agree with this.
They wanted the manager sacked after the group stages !

I (and i dInt hear any other opinion) thought he did all right considering the game.
Yea id agree with that, they did try and play positive football.
IMO Spain played decent Football, they kept the ball better. but i thought Holland contained them mostly and had chances to win, especially Robben chance.
I was interested in the reaction on here and those who must have watched it at home with the commentry on, wether they were influenced by that. It seems to me they were in the main. Im not saying their opinions wrong just maybe theyd have a different opinion if they could only see the pictures?
