Tour De France for Nerds…

I quite like this from a techy nerdy point of view… Mark Cavendish’s Columbia HTC Team have signed deal with google to track their team on googlemaps via GPS… don’t know what the point of it is, but I think its kinda cool…

aye but the tour de france lot are worse. they come here every year and always piss everyone off, we are banned from the kitchen now because theyre far too important to share it. when i was a runner i nearly got sacked cos i had to work for them on a weekend and turned up still on cowies and without any sleep. wouldnt mind but i did fuck all wrong, they just complained that i seemed tired and really kicked off about it

im not sure exactly what they do as we arent allowed near them. i think theyre basically editing it as its shown. putting the stats up etc things like that i imagine. we cant go in as its live and they cant be disturbed. never bothered the bastards before. gave me a right look cos i went in for a glass of water
