Default scott parker getting a few mentions

on skys phone in show last night. apparently he would have been the perfect player to sit in front of the back four, to allow the stars to break forward and not bother to run back.

    mainly from southern callers.

did not hear one mention of bent but plenty of critics re heskey

I don't think Bent would have been up to much as the midfield anchorman though

Had Parker played the first game, I think we'd have probably beaten the Americans, and won the group, meaning we wouldn't have lost to the Germans. We'd have lost to Ghana.

Yet another player whose currency increases without having to do anything.

He'll be world class by the start of next season.
