barry is capable of dropping to left back, if required, carrick would then step into the midfield holding role, if 5 men were selected in midfield

and IMHO he would still have played left back before warnock.

    Carrick to cover Barry
So I'm guessing he'll have played a key role in the USA game

milner was also used in a friendly, in that position, iirc.

warnock will not see one second on the pitch in this world cup. simple as that.

So Capello should not have picked Warnock in the squad because you think he would of used somebody else there if A.Cole got injured

Bearing in mind Capello picked the squad and you only think he would have played somebody else there if Cole gets injured

we have been over this rob

my gripe is that warnock is there after playing 2 mins in two years of int football. is that enough for him to be selected? why was he not played for 45 mins each with baines, during the warm up games? is warnock even fit? who knows, he has not played since may.

and imo he will not play 1 second of this world cup.

carragher, barry would be put it that position before warnock imo.

it really is that basic and simple
