to be honest mate it simply depends on who is offering specials, i just went with asiana as they were the cheapest at the time, plus i got a free stopover in seoul

somebody has already suggested skyscanner and tehy are ok

kayak is another good flight finding site as is opodo

id suggest seeing who the cheapest airlines are via those price comparison sites then also check the airlines website to compare , i often find it can vary. sometimes its cheaper to book direct , other times opodo or similar come up cheaper

Finnair had a sale on to japan not so long back.

asiana didnt even come up on the flight comparison , i just stumbled across their website. cant remember how as id never even heard of them

if you dont mind flying indirect you should be able to get an ok deal

We went Air France - newcastle - CDG - Narita.

Cheap, but CDG is a pain in the arse.

Cheers mate, i'll keep tabs on each of these. And hope for a sale, as i'm getting quoted at best £600 at the minute. Which is a little bit more than i have to part with at this moment in time.

While we're on, and tips of a decent kip while i'm in Tokyo? Doesn't have to be owt flash as i'm just going there initially by myself.
