    No, don't just sit back and take it. Once you've an income and afford to go back to the solicitors and go after some of her bank account money. Depending on how long you were living with her, you could get a settlement on common law grounds.

    It might be worth their while for them to offer you say £30,000 to £40,000 just to get lost.

    Please tell me you didn't sign anything that gets them off the hook?

    I've got a solicitor and legally it's just up to my ex whether she'll give me anything or not, ain't no common law like

    No competition mate, niche market

    I already have 200 clients without trying and they'll still want what I do in 2 years time and will tell others, giving me access to more than 30,000 people like

    Was this for more than 2 years?

    If so, there is legal presidence. There was a case down south where a woman walked off with a substantial sum - contribution to household - after cohabiting for more than 2 years.

    She went to court after her former boyfriend said she was getting nothing.
