Whatever happens tomorrow, a maginificent achievement from DB this season - the goals, performances and all round effort - all the hallmarks for one of SAFC greatest forwards - Best of luck for tomorrow - you deserve it !!

Doubt it but we dont see everything that happens in training. Other than Rooney where would the goals if he was injured/suspended. I dont think Defoe could do it.

All to our advantage really. He won't be part of a massive England fuck-up and of course will have a point to prove next season. He'll be mag-slaying for fun next year

For all thats been said on this forum over the last few weeks and months, Dazzler wants to be in that squad. He is an honest lad who just wants to play football with his mates, buy millions of trainers and play COD. Don't we all.

He has had a tremendous first season and I'm glad that he has been successful. He has the makings of a true Sunderland legend and know that with our 40k+ support each week he will continue to get better and better.

Congratulations on a superb season Darren. Whatever happens tomorrow we still love ya.

Really hope he goes,well deserved after the season he's had,but deep down i think we all know he wont be going,the times he's played for England he's been feeding on scraps,maybe that's a biased SAFC fans opinion,like some posts on here today have said though,Englands loss will be our gain,good rest over the summer raring to go August,i still hope he goes though.
