Should we then call him TURNER TAP

The lad did ok for a first season moving to a big club, and I think he will become a very steady CB and hopefully he will get someone to play alongside him on a regular basis.

I would like to see Cana with him seeing as we have enough ball winning CM's

We lost 20 games last season with the fabulous Noz, Collins et al.
We lost 16 games this season with the advent of Turner.
The fragility of mensah, and the learning curve of da Silva meant he has hardly had the chance to forge any relationship based on a consistent pairing .
    He's done very very well.
Strange that Liverpool were sniffing around before we jumped in and Capello has made enquiries, and Bruce is a CB himself.
I'm sure you're a better judge than them.
Or do you have a snide agenda..discuss

Have these ever been corroborated in any way?

For the record, I'm still undecided on Turner. We'll see next year.

Turner is average, no more no less. We could certainly improve on him.

Good player who will only improve with experience. Future england international for me. He needs a solid back four to work with and if we improve in both full back areas and another centre half we will be fine. Some people are never happy. If you look at the so called "top" centre halfs this season terry, vidic , ferdinand all got slated at different times in top sides. Turner needs to improve his distribution but overall very happy with the lad.

Makes me laugh all these Turner threads... the lad is a f*cking decent CB and we are lucky to have him!

When I don't see him in our eleven, I get nervy... I'm happy with him and think/hope he can take yet another step next season. He's a tough no-nonsense CB who commands the air and aren't afraid to stick his head in and. Could be a bit faster but there are many great CB's who aren't Walcotty.
