Restoration of old WWII photo.
Original
Restored (Lighting, rips and scratches, etc.)
From black and white into colour.
No. 619 Squadron RAF based at RAF Strubby, Lincolnshire between 28 September 1944 and 30 June 1945. My Grandad is second from the right.

impressive.
i reckon it would be pretty easy that using colour fill masks in photoshop - could see it taking time, but not too challenging

Magnificent.
The colour one looks so realistic that it's almost unrealistic - i.e. it's so credible that it's hard to believe that it was taken before colour photography was widely available.
