Are you really? People have opinions, that's your answer.

You see what happens when the season ends, people start waffling about nothing!

Walmo, you're totally missing the point and there was I thinking people on here were dead clever. Read it again and, by all means, come back to me if you still can't understand.....others can.

Yes I can see, now you've posted waffle.

I think you're missing your own point to be honest

Your question is basically 'Why do people think that what they say is right'. Riveting stuff...

I reckon Riviera is merely a figment of his own imagination.

What puzzles me is that there's a stock answer whenever anyone criticises the fans of any other club. The tree-huggers always ask if those with a poor opinion of West Ham fans, or whoever, have met EVERY Hammer and how many of them they know.

Strangely they decry this honest opinion, based on personal experience, by saying,
"Well I've met loads of West Ham fans and I don't have a problem with them."

What I don't understand is why they're so sure that their personal experience is somehow superior to anyone else's..........surely you can only ever base your opinion on your own personal experience, so how come the tree-huggers, on here, believe that they're so right?

I'm really interested to know why they believe they're right............right?
So someone has a different opinion to you they're a hypocrite,Stalin would have loved someone like you on his books.
    Tolerance not your strongpoint.

Sorry but that isn't my point at all.

    I'll explain again slooooowly.

Group A say they don't like a particular group of fans.
Group B say they're wrong because their own experience is different.
Group A says that their opinion is based on personal experience.
Group B says their opinion is invalid because they don't know EVERY member of that group of fans.
Group B are hypocrites because neither do they.
Group B is using the same argument as Group A.

Without a blackboard and some chalk I don't know how much more simple I can make it for you.
