SWP has his old man spouting shit on his behalf every week in the papers, SWP is a decent player but would anyone honestly have him in there team above Young :?

Agreed, he is over rated imo, his distribution is poor and players have sussed him out. Does the same thing every time. Ashley young has pace and a cracking delivery on him. bizzare.

However SWP has had an identical season to Young and is not first choice and has played 7 less games, strange that.

Ashely Youngs been average this season and for all his critics SWP has been more effective than Young this season.

SWP has performed far better in an Ingerlund shirt than Young, who looks inhibited for some reason.

Im no Villa fan but Young has been poor this season and is vastly overrated imo.Saying that so is SWP and that's why I would take Johnson

Im sure the reason is players like Young know they need to be on fire to be picked again, I mean just look at Bents game for England against Brazil, because he didnt tear Brazil a new arse people were saying he aint an international forward..

Young would have to be world class every game for England to keep his spot, Gerrard has been gash this season but some are saying he will play wide left for England, its a joke

Really? Can't say im a form expert just every time i see Ashley Young he looks dangerous and is imo one of the best crossers of a ball around. If Capello plays with Crouch or, dare i say it, Heskey, this is exactly what he needs.

Young hasnt really had a good season, plus in the games hes been called up he hasnt shown his then villa form. Swp however i fail to see how the fuck he even gets near the fucker. World cup winners hahahahaha be lucky to get past the first knockout round.

Don't understand that at all. Young can play both wings and is a far better player than SWP (who I do like and rate). Villa fans I work with say Young has been their best player for last 2 months, above Milner.
