    saw it last night and paxman was getting prgressively more narky as the night was going on.

    i think opik was a sort of "portillo" moment from a few years back.

    Paxman made a remark to one of the Lib Dem blokes earlier in the evening, when talking about coalition govt asking him if he'd 'be prepared to get into bed with Peter Mandelson'. I'm sure he knew it was a cheeky remark he couldn't be pulled up for.
