If we are to finish 10th on Sunday, we needed last night's result for Stoke against Fulham:

Fixtures for Sunday involving teams just above us are:

Arsenal v Fulham
Aston Villa v Blackburn
Man Utd v Stoke

All loseable matches, with a potential win against Wolves putting us in 10th (equal on points with Stoke and Blackburn but with a marginally better goal difference.)

Still very possible!!

I mention that on another more recent active thread and frankly don't discount Fulham. Fulham and Arsenal have been beyond belief recently for very oppising reasons to past seasons. I think Fulham could nick a point at the Emirates.

Fulham have been awful in the league lately but they still managed to nick a point at Anfield. Depends what team Fulham put out.

Kind makes you wonder how woeful the other teams have been through out the year. I mean we had 3 months of drudgery and still have the potential to finish about Stoke, Blackburn and Fulham. Actually all I have to do is think of last season and I know exactly how it has been for them.

That was the game I had in mind. If Zamora goes into the game confident then Fulham could give Arsenal a game.

More to do with what we did after that 3 month drought of confidence and good results I think.

I think so. 10th would flatter us. 13th would show how much work is still needed in terms of the transfer market
