Getting a phone line fixed

Does anyone know or can give me a rough idea how much it will cost to get a phoneline point fixed in my house. Basically I have one in my Bedroom and my living room and I am currently using the one in my bedroom as the cabling to the one in my living room has snapped, although im not sure where this cable initially went to. I dont want to phone up a load of companies only to get ripped off by a daft quote so I thought I would check to see if there is anyone on here who might know?
