Then can switch back to normal view and "save selection."
I rushed this a bit mind

Quickmask tool is the two buttons just below the colour selector on the toolbox
That looks a very useful way.

I suppose the advantage is that you can edit the mask before finally accepting it.

Yes and you can save multiple versions of the mask too. The brushes can be a bit easier than the lasso tool.

These are the 5000 degree Kelvin bulbs I mentioned on another thread. They save a whole load of tweaking.

Another issue is that the lights you're using are very yellow - the light box will help but won't eliminate it entirely.

If you're doing a lot of this then it might be worth investing in some white halogen lights. They're not wildly expensive.

    Sorry - missed that.

After a cheap light set up to make a small studio at work. Only have a small budget to work with so I might see if they deliver to this fair Isle.

They're almost standard as household bulbs here - I got my first ones at Home Depot (B&Q) and they were only slightly more expensive than these.

Edit: The B&Q ones aren't Neolite - but as long as they say 5000k that doesn't matter.

cheers mate, there's a b&q not too far away so i'll call in over the weekend and see if they have any.

quick question though, maybe im being thick here, lol, but will i be able to get the bulbs and just put them in the lamps i got from ikea, as long as they have the same connection on them?
