Ian Lawther
For anyone reading this of a somewhat mature vintage, it was in this mornings paper here that Ian Lawther has died, aged 71.
After leaving Belfast he signed for Sunderland in 1958, made his debut in 1959, and scored 41 goals in only 75 leagur appearances for the club. We could do with him now! Mervyn |
