Good stuff mate. When he first took over he said alot about connecting the fans with the club again. He's not perfect, but is definetly going in the right direction

The man is a legend. But after reading the last 2 threads about him, his mailbox is gonna be full of sob stories in the next few weeks :P

Gotta be the best chairman in the country, though.

I've already sent him complaints about the bog roll in the stadium being too rough, my seat being too cold when I sit down and the grass not being green enough. My free season ticket will be arriving shortly

An Irish mate of mine wanted to bring his disabled son over to see the Spurs match last year as the young un liked SAFC & Spuds. So i e-mailed the club asking if there was any chance he could meet one of the Irish players as it'd make his day etc...
Lesley(?) the PR manager e-mailed back saying we should turn up at reception before the match. Thought nowt of it, expecting a signed photo or something along those lines. When the big man himself came down with a bag full of pressies for the lad, i thought he was gonna wet himself! Signed strip, ball, photos of all the players and some other stuff. Spent about 15 minutes with us having a bit crack on. How many other chairmen would take time out at 14:30 on a match day to do that?
Niall asked my mate to leave his address at reception and a week later a signed photo of Robbie Keane drops on his doorstep!

Top Top man who we're very lucky to have fronting our club!

TomThePom off here came over from Oz and Quinny arranged to meet him in reception as well. It's the little things that take no effort that people appreciate.

Aye, the ball n strip probably cost the club pennies. When the lad wants to start going to footy by himself he'll probably remember the day and start spending money at SAFC.
