The Moon
A few pics of the moon I've captured this week with my telescope and mono webcam.
17th April:  19th April:  21st April:  I used a William Optics 90mm/f6.9 refractor, Imaging source DMK planetary webcam, green filter and some clever software designed by geeks to stack it and make it into a mosaic.

It depends on the phase, but the range is probably 8 to 25 panes here. For each pane I grab 750 frames with the webcam (as an avi) and stack the best 250 of those.

Cheers peeps.
By the way, if you are just shooting the moon with a DSLR and tele lens, it still pays to take lots of shots and stack them.
