It's not as if Sunderland fans are turing against Bent, though, is it? We all acknowledge, accept, and love him for the goalscorer that he is. The questions about whether Bent contributes enough is just the international debate and very few Sunderland fans are against him in that.

Over the last 5 years, he's second only to Rooney in English goal scorers in The Premier League. How anyone can try to belittle him after that is beyond me.
