Default Will petrol prices eventually fall again?

Or will they continue to rise? I'm fucking appalled that I have to pay 117.9p for a fucking litre of petrol. I'm only a student for fuck sake.

I mean I know I should, but I've not been keeping up on the news about all of this to be honest ...

I really hope so. 121p in Wales now! £110 to fill up

Been to London for a few days and Sainsbury's in Beckton is selling at 115.9.
Anyone down there should get it while they can.

Rise until the government drops fuel duty i'm afraid, they have 2 more rises pencilled in over the next 6 months and that's without oil getting more expensive.

Isn't crude oil at its cheapest for the first time in a while though? It's all fucking greed man.

Of course it is,they say they want to revive the economy, well everything is shipped by road or rail and that needs fuel, the dearer the fuel costs the dearer the food and goods and transportation costs will be.
But they get a guaranteed revenue from fuel duty and the more the cost of food and everything else rises the more tax and VAT they get.
If they really cared about the economy they could drop 20p on fuel and people would have loads more money to spend on things they want.
It's a fucking sham, even the tories didn't try and fuck about with fuel as they know how dependant we are on it.
    It's not a choice it's a necessity.

Puts it all into perspective then. I seen earlier the estimated debt of the UK is £1.4 TRILLION! Fucking scandalous. It's no wonder it's so high then to be honest. Is it all down to financial mismanagement though or just a tremendous bite from the recession? So what exactly are their reasons in keeping it so high if they could, as you say, drop it by 20p giving people more freedom with their money? Or is it not that simple?

A student with a car? Your student loan is obviously too high.

He's not a uni one he's a live at home a level one.

But even so, do you expect loans just to pay for bread and bed? Seriously?

Not at all, for me the social part of uni was just as important as the academic and everyone should be allowed the odd luxury.
Cars though are one of the most expensive things to own and take constant expenditure. I had to completely unexpectedly spend £800 last month on mine for example.
I just can't see why any student would need a car. Never mind an a-level student likes. Are A-levels not full time things anymore?
If you don't have kids or need one for work I honestly believe most people don't need one anyway.
