Default Next time we`re in the championship I`ll be conscious of the following:

    a) our neighbours have walked it and we would therefore have to too (which generally we do anyhow).

    b) nobody gives a shite about it. Its quite sad looking back to how pleased we were at walking that division. Id often presume thousands up and down the land were watching our quality football. No fecker cares, nobody watches `the Championship`. I was honestly half way to work today before being aware the skunks we`re up.

Lets hope we`re here to stay anyhow.

I remember all of the pre-season optimism too, as we spent about 40m. The mags haven't anywhere near that amount to spend, so I expect them to struggle. happy days.

Couldnt agree more with point B. I didnt know until I came on here this morning either.

I'm 31 and this is the longest run in the top division we've had since I've been going, the thought of dropping out of this league is unbearable, no one really does care about Championship football, its terrifying.

We've won the Championship 3 of the last 4 times we've been in it, not something you really wanna be experts at like

Its true like and you can see why the mags were laughing at us.

We used to think winning it meant summit but infact nobody bar the teams in there gave a flying fuck.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 105 point season.

Dont get us wrong, they are good fun (heck we are not used to winning games usually so its brilliant) but when your in there you think that the world gives a fuck, when infact there isnt as much interest in the CCC as we would like to think. Its not until your out of it for a few years that you properly see the lack of interest in it.

I think thats one of the reasons they are trying to show more games and there are a few footy progs on it now, trying to put it out there so people may take more interest.
