    Default Nikon D3000

My compact has finally given up the ghost so after much research between the Canon 1000, Sony A series and the Nikon D3000 I've waited until our lass has gone out and plucked up the bottle to order the Nikon.

£350 quid from amazon and should be here by dinner time tomorrow - can't wait (mind you I'll have to if the battery doesn't come with it as the others |i've ordered won't come until wednesday )

I went with the Canon Eos 450D last year and never regretted it. Never used Nikon stuff but it's very well thought of.

I think the new ones at £350 have the same spec as the one I paid £500 for a while back.

Just wait till you get into it and start pulling out for lenses/filters and a proper flash!
